topic RX301 Vaio & Norton Antivirus in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.bg/t5/pcs-accessories/rx301-vaio-norton-antivirus/m-p/77866#M41209 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi <BR /><BR />I've got a RX301 Vaio which came with Norton Antivirus 2002 preinstalled. <BR /><BR />However, if I actually install Norton I cannot access the Internet and the machine freezes along with other faults such as programs 'not responding' as soon as you start them up. When I uninstall the program these problems just disappear and everything is fine! <BR /><BR />I had it suggested to me that maybe the preloaded version installed by Sony was corrupt so I got hold of Norton AntiVirus 2003, did a system restore and installed it. This time the program just wouldn't start displaying the error message 'Norton experienced an internal error, please uninstall and reinstall'. I followed these instructions, but it made no difference.
