Vaio Not getting start properly and its power going off.

Hi,

I can not start my laptop when i am pressing start button my desktop is coming but suddenly going off when i am doing second attempt i see only Vaio sign thats it and it is going off thn i have to wait like 30 mints to see my desktop and going off again n again. Please help me And it is in waranty too

Hi Syed.Jahanzaib,

As your notebook is still in warranty you should contact Sony Support.

To rule out any software or malware problem they will probably ask that you carry out a reset to factory defaults prior to accepting it for repair.

To do this either boot from your recovery disks, or tap F10 at boot, to enter the Vaio Recovery Utility.

I treid pressing f10 but the thing is it is going off completely few days back it was giving me some noises from processor fan.the noise was like the wire or something was stoping it to run.

In that case contact Support using the link at the top of this page as it would seem you have a hardware problem.
