Factory re-install media for VPCEB3JOE

The hard disk has failed in this laptop and the user failed to prepare the factory restore media. Is it possible to buy or download this? I can then fit a replacement hard disk.

I've already tried Sony support at the link you gave and have a case ID. But no useful response yet. Hence my post here.

Perhaps somebody very prudently made the re-install disks and can send me a copy?

Or suggest where Sony has them available for download?

I received a reply. They tell me that the product I require is EUAE545AF, and that the recommended supplier is EET Europarts Ltd. But that supplier has no stock, neither has Mindmachine Associates Ltd because "No longer manufactured". Can anybody here supply one?

It ought therefore to be possible to download an ISO image, but so far nobody can point me to a suitable site for that, either.

So not very satisfactory.
