    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sony send me a message with the specs of my combo drive;&lt;BR /&gt;24X CD-ROM &lt;BR /&gt;8X CD-R &lt;BR /&gt;8X CD-RW &lt;BR /&gt;8X DVD-ROM&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;They said, you can burn on 24 speed cd-r without problems, if you use 48 speed or higher, you can have problems.&lt;BR /&gt;I have also try to burn on, 2x / 4x speed, it make no differents.&lt;BR /&gt;So now i have to buy 24 speed cd-r, but ther aint no 24 speed cr-r to buy in the store, only 48 speed or higher.&lt;BR /&gt;They can't be serious, in other words, if you don't want problems with your burner, you have to buy a new cd-burner with higher specs, come on now, they said also, you have to burn with SonicStage and not with a another burn software, Yeh right &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.bg/html/@AAA7E94E725A4CC5D7B5B3DCD17C62C3/images/smilies/072.png" alt=":devil:" title=":devil:" /&gt;   , i have burn also with SonicStage and it gives the same troubles.&lt;BR /&gt;I asked the sony support-desk, they said, if you return your laptop for service, and we burn a cd and play it in a sony home or portable cd-player, and we can't find any problem, we can't do anything for you. &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.bg/html/@13A2E6A3774A8B47B4EC6F04089539E1/images/smilies/063.png" alt=":thinking:" title=":thinking:" /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;That's the point, in a old sony cd-player, it will works, i have try it, but not in a maratnz or kenwood. &lt;BR /&gt;And how can they explaine, that the 24 speed cd-r, can play in every cd-player, it drives me mad.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a PCG-FX702 notebook, when i burn 24 speed cd-r with audio files, no problems.&lt;BR /&gt;But when i burn 48 0r higher speed cd-r with audio, then i got a problem, wich is;&lt;BR /&gt;When i burn a 48 or higher speed cd-r with audio, in every kind of speed, it will play in my home cd-player, but i can't skip, when i skip, the cd-player stops playing.&lt;BR /&gt;I have try different kinds of cd-r, only the 24 speed cd-r gives no problems.&lt;BR /&gt;No they say to me, update your firmware, but i can't find any firmware for my HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4080N. I burn with Nero 6.&lt;BR /&gt;Who can help me with this problem, nobody or store gives me a solution.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;What a load of nonsense, Sony should know not everything is trouble free.  They should know not two machines are the same and CD players vary.  This really is wrong.  I would consider getting an enclosure with a LiteOn, but still, it's not cheap.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Don't really know what you can do, I had this sort of nonsense off another retailer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
