Sony fdr-ax53 and fdr-ax43

I am considering getting a fdr-ax53 as it would seem to be the upgraded model but I have read the fdr-ax43 was released more recently than the fdr-ax53. Which is the better model? I am a new hobbyist.

I know the fdr-ax53 works with android, has a better resolution flip screen and has a clean hdmi output.

Do they have the same stabilisation gimbal?

A store is suggesting the fdr-ax43 would be a better buy.

Also the fdr-ax43 seems to have an attached handle whereas the fdr-ax53 doesn't, unless I am getting confused.

Hey the main difference between both of them is that the FDR-AX53 has a viewfinder while the FDR-AX43 doesn't. You can check this link for the comparison table. They both come with the same accessories supplied in the box. I hope this helps.

I suggest you buy the 53 model. I use AX-33 for years, viewfinder is absolutely necessary.
