Hello @photonsony ,

the FDR X3000 is not a webcam, but an Action Cam.

It can't transmit a video feed directly via USB.

To get access to a video feed you would need a so called "HDMI-capture-device" to which you connect the camera via HDMI.

With a software like e.g. OBS (Open Broadcaster Studio) you can record the video feed and with other programs you can access the video feed just like it were a webcam.

I personally can highly recommend the "ELGATO Camlink" (preferrably the new 4K version <- it is also compatible with 1080p).

I want to connect the Acam to my computer via a usb 2. 0 connection. I want to use my ac to provide a live feed ie put the ac on a shelf and show the office on my screen (not recording no memory card in machine). I have Playmemories install on my computer usb 2 win 10. Is there any cables or interface that can do this. This is nearly as complicated as Brexit IB England
