Connecting Bluetooth Headphones to Turntable PS-LX310BT

I can connect my turntable to various Amazon Echo speakers but when i try to connect to either my Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds or BOSE QC over ear headphones it won't connect. I've disconnected all of the Echo speakers to ensure it doesn't pair with them but it doesn't make any difference.

Can anyone help please. I'll also post this in the audio category.

I've done some further research and, as suspected, the Sony Assistant was completely wrong. I manages to locate the user manual for the turntable which confirmed headphones could be connected.

I resolved the issue by following the procedure in the manual for deleting all previous bluetooth connections (holding the pairing button on the turntable for a period of time - 6 seconds I think). After this, both my Sony earbuds and Bose over-ear headphones both paired.
