Hi I have an Sony Bravia KDL-37W5500 tv connected to a Humax Foxsat HDR

and a Sony HT-XT1 Home Theatre System. (Not connected to internet)

I can change the sound from the TV to the HT-XT1 by using the TV Remote,

and pressing the blue Home button ,going across to Settings, down to Audio Settings

then Speaker, and changing from TV to Audio System

If I leave it on TV and switch on the HT-X1 I get sounds from both

My Question : Is there a simple way of changing the Sound Outputs,

without going through the process shown above ?

Hi,

Please try the following:

1st turn on your soundbar

2nd turn on your TV

This should play the sound from the soundbar only.

If you want to change the output manually, the steps you mentioned are the only way to do it.

Hi I’m afraid this did not work,still got the sound from TV and Sound Bar together, but out

of sync .I can mute the tv by the button on the Sony remote therefore getting just the Sound Bar.
