Since the sound test is working fine, then I believe that it has nothing to do with the headphones settings, and more to do with the TV audio out settings, I think you will need to check it.

when I connect the wh-1000xm4 headphones via bluetooth to my lg 49uh850v tv the sound volume is extremely low no matter what it is whether sky, freeview, blu ray etc. The bizarre thing is when i did a sound test in the tv settings it played music that sounded fine. What can i do?
