Selfie stick not working

Hello

I have an issue with Xoeria X and SilverCrest SSP 2600 A1 selfi stick

The stick works with other type phones, but not working with X. I tried with 2 Xperia X, tried in safe mode, and tried after reset factory settings.

The stick works perfectly with Z3 Compact, IPhone5S, Lenovo A236.

Other bluetooth devices working with Xperia X (radio)

Android version: 7.0

Any idea, how can I fix it?

Hi @SRTwILeK, sorry to hear this.

Would it be possible for you elaborate a bit about this? Will the Xperia X not find the selfie stick when searching for Bluetooth devices, or is it unable to connect to it after searching?

Hello

Xperia found the stick, i see in the bluetooth list and i tap it write: pairing then add to the connected devices list

So stick is discovered, paired and connected, but!

After this i opened the camera app(selfi stick blue led always lightning = connected), i press the shot button on selfi and do nothing

I tried lots of solution:

- removed all other devices

- installed keyboardhelper pro

- restart the phone in safe mode

- installed other camera apps

Not works

Need any log? Adb, other app log?

I love my xperia (i was t2 ultra, z3 compact and x so i dont need other) and love that selfi stick... Pls help

Could you try changing the "Use volume key as" setting to "Shutter" and see if that helps? This can be done by opening the Camera app > tap the settings icon > tap More and scroll down.

I have personally experienced that many selfie sticks appears to use the device's volume controls to take a photo, probably because many other phones doesn't feature a camera key. Changing this setting did help in those cases.

Yes i tried. The volume button is on shutter. Tried to change, not working. Ofc not works when on shutter

At this stage I do recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the accessory and ask about compatibility with Xperia devices. I'm afraid we can't guarantee compatibility for third party accessories and devices.

It's not a good news

The stick works all other phones, just not works with Sony Xperia X

Just to say that I have exactly the same problem with my Sony Xperia and Bluetooth selfie stick. It pairs with the stick but doesn't take photo. Yes, I have changed the volume key to be shutter.

In addition to the raised issue, I'm also experiencing this on my XA ULTRA. On my previous XA ULTRA, it works fine, I have no issue. But on my new XA ULTRA (as my previous one was dead), it doesn't function. I have connected it but it doesn't trigger the shutter. I've tried also said steps above but nothing works. Said shutter device works perfectly on my XPERIA C3. Do XPERIA devices have different Bluetooth connections even same phone model?

Same as mine my phone is XA ultra . The monopod bluetooth is connected already ing my phone but when i will use it on camera the shutter cannot worked what is the solution of this problem please help😭😭
