Hi. I just dropped my Xperia compact on the floor. The screen didn’t crack, but the top left hand side has gone dark, and the entire touchscreen doesn’t work. Is my phone broken beyond repair? And can I save the photos I have stored on it? Help!

@AlexWells

When you can see the screen, there is a simple solution.

Plug in a mouse in the USB port and off you go.

I use this card reader to make the connection. (the USB type is different but the priciple is the same)

The card reader is always handy and you don't have to buy a seperate USB A to USB c cable.
