HT-ST5000 Sound bar with sound field stuck on 3D surround

I have a HT-ST5000 sound bar where I cannot change the sound field from 3D surround, have tried a hard reset with no joy all other functions are working ok has anybody got any suggestions.

Hey there,

Did you try to update the firmware of the sound bar: https://bit.ly/3ONjDc8.
And how is it connected exactly to your TV? Maybe try to change the content you're playing.

I have the latest firmware installed and it’s worked fine since I’ve had it up until now which is going on 2 years.

I also have the better HDMI cables could it be one of the cables is faulty would that make a difference?

@U2MrIzz, yeah it could be a cable issue, try to change it and double check again.

i have got the latest firmware installed it’s all been working fine up until a couple of weeks ago the only sound field I can get is Clear A or 3D surround.

There is a another topic on here and the guy has had the same problem.

Yea, I acutally added some steps in that previous post as well, you might want to reset it using the link I added there, cheers.
