Video call issue in Xperia 5 II

I bought a new Xperia 5 II in sweden. Video call in the front camera is too poor (Whatsapp, Facebook, instagram and Duo) and the person on other end not able to hear the sound. I have restarted the mobile and after that also same issue.

Check the tests in the support app for camera and microphone to see if there are issues.

Same here with the appalling quality on the camera: very noisy and grainy on video calls. Very concerning too.

Any word on if this could be tweaked or addressed in the next (UK) firmware update? I believe it's in January 2021.

Hi, the Support app is preinstalled in every Xperia phone, it's icon is a blue circle with a white question mark inside, or vice versa, it has some tests for basic functions in the device.
