From Home screen, MENU>Settings>About phone, then check Firmware version.

Are you trying to activate your bluetooth or your bluetooth doesn't work ?

OK. There is 'limitation' on bluetooth for Android 1.6, you can resolve this issue by installing an app Bluetooth File Transfer. It's free in the Market.
