Ahhhhh HELP

Hi there,

I am hoping someone out there can help me.

I have the X8 and I can't upgrade to 2.1.

My PC Companion keeps telling me I have the most up to date version when I clearly don't.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PC companion and when this didn't work I uninstalled it again and redownloaded the must current version from SE website.

It still tells me my 1.6 is the most up to date.

Any ideas? anyone?

Try SEUS directly instead of PC Companion.

Hello, what to do is download and install Sony Ericsson Update Service instead as it should allow you to update your handset. Here is a download link http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1294043165/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.1.9.exe
