Anyone had any experience trying to get Openwatch to download on their X8? I have tried to download it several times from Marketplace and it says it downloaded successfully, but when I go to open the app, it just has a one-page list of updates, but no program to launch. It means I can't use my MBW-150.

I have the 2.1 update for Android so this is not the issue.

All assistance welcomed for this noob.

Hi,

That sounds correct. There isn't a program as such. If you try pairing your watch while this app is installed, it should automatically begin to work correctly.

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately that is not correct. There is supposed to be a 'program' of sorts that allows you to select which options you want to have with openwatch. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my original query - so in other words when app is actually 'launched' - see screenshot

I do not have this when I install the app - just a list of updates for openwatch and what version it is currently on, so I am unable to use the app and/or pair my watch. I am wondering if anyone knows why the app won't launch/install properly...

You would need to pair the watch with the handset in the Bluetooth section of the settings on the handset itself. Once the watch is paired, if you go into the Open Watch Application and press the left silver key (menu button) on the bottom of the handset, this will then give you the option to change the settings between your handset and watch.
