Apps on SD not visible after connecting to pc as USB drive

i have problem

if i connecting my arc s to pc to add some files to my sd card ...and from the phone home all apps installed in sd card not visible ..only i can see and use this apps if i remove usb cable or make it only on charge mode ...

connect your phone in mtp mode

you can still transfer data in mtp and use your apps also...

when you connect your phone... drag the notification panel and select change connectivity..

it only happens when you connect in MSC mode
so connect in mtp mode as slim said
( settings> sony ericsson> connectivity>usb connection mode> MTP)

thanx ..yes you are true but actually i using MIUI Rom and i don't finde this option

Go through all the settings and see if could find something related to MTP/MSC
