Hello, I saw that about a week ago when I want to set a wallpaper and ask me for crop aplication, there is a com.sonymobile.china.photoeditor app. Is this a virus?

boot on safe mode and try cropping another picture.

I am from Romania, so excuse me for my english :).
When I want to set a wallpaper it is asking me wich app I want to use. The steps are:
Use as/wallpaper (album or google+, I choose album)/complete action using ...
Here is the app I am asking. I have to choose between Crop photo, crop picture (com.sonymobile.photoeditor) and crop picture (com.sonymobile.china.photoeditor).
I had disabled the app from the app manager but I dont know if it is not a virus.

Follow @Phy suggestion, if you don't get that option while on safe mode then its a third party app, btw is your phone from China?

No. There is a diference in what I had said. The china option is sonymobile and the other is sonyericsson.
In safe mode is like a few days ago with only two optioms google+ and crop picture. I dont know how to atach printscreens to show you the diference. Thank you for your patience and help.

Then that show its an app that you installed either through the play store or if you sideloaded an app, you can uninstall apps or just repair your phone with PCC, I would do do that (repair my phone with PCC)

This is not an option for me because I don' t have a Pc. The only apps I had instaled are from Google Play, a few, and some pictures from net. Nothing else.

Strange. I had uninstalled all the aplications I had, nothing. In app manager I found two apps named Photo editor, with Sony icon, one about 1 mb and another about 2 mb. The one about 2 mb had the uninstall option, I used it and voila, no more china.

Perhaps you went to a website and you have

settings > security > unknown sources and it was installed.

Still I have the sistem app named com.sonymobile.china.photoeditor.res.overlay version 305 and in Sony update app, I have a new update for Photo editor version 4.0

There is a photo editor app now built into the Album app and then there's an alternative with different options from Sony available from the Play store
