Xperia Default Owner Name

Hello,

Having recently purchased a Sony Xperia M4 from Amazon which was described as both a UK model and factory new. Everything was packaged correctly and phone does appear to be new. I did notice something odd when I went to enter my name as the device owner though.

Next to owner was the name/word (Katoxoc), which I believe is Greek. Is my phone therefore a Greek model? Can anyone shed any light on why this might be?

Cheers,

Jon

Two things maybe Three, That word is Greek and translates to Holder

Two things to help us is the Model number from Settings - About phone and dial *#*#7378423#*#* then open Service info then Software info and reply with both your Customization number and model number

If you wish to and is your only option then follow this guide but ignore the title but do follow the guide - If you feel you are unable to do this then on the rare occasion and with your permission I could remote network and prepare the firmware file and program ready for you to connect your phone

you would need to install a program called Teamviewer and send me in a PM your ID and Password - Then I can connect and download the needed programs for manual flashing and the program needed to download the firmware as per that guide
