Turn on with numeric buttons

Hi,

Is it in some way possible to turn the tv on with the numeric buttons? With my previous tv i could do it with the numeric button and also with the P +/- buttons.

And when i have my external hdd connected i mentioned that it stays on while the tv is in standby mode. Is there some way to change this?

Hi @KD43x75WL

It is not possible to turn on the TV using the number buttons etc. (I have never seen this on any TV that I have had).

The HDD needs to remain on in Standby, to record any scheduled programmes while the TV is in Standby.

Ok thanks. With Philips, Samsung, Salora its pretty normal. This is my first Sony so. Maybe i can get it done with a button remapper app.

Just tried pressing 1 on the remote for our LG C2, which was in standby, and it instantly came on.

Looks like Sony are lagging the field here 😢
