Formatting a USB memory stick

My new Sony Bravia ANDROID TV KD-43XD8088 is unable to format a 64 gig sandisk cruzer USB stick. I have been able to format it with a PC into default FAT32 and also its been recognised and I can format it with an Android box I have. The TV does recognise the drive is there, but after waiting a while reports can't format drive. Can anyone advise please. I have not tried any other USB as yet.

Hi,

you can try a Reboot of Android TV... Press hold the Power/OFF key on remote...

Many Thanks Kudos, spot on. After reboot did the trick. I chose HDD registration to record and was successful.
